Enjoy a private day trip from Porto to one of Portugal’s most impressive natural attractions: the Paiva Walkways and the Arouca 516 Suspension Bridge. Start your day early to make the most of the quiet atmosphere and the breathtaking scenery of the Arouca Geopark.

Walk along wooden paths that follow the Paiva River, surrounded by untouched nature, waterfalls, geological formations and shaded areas that make the experience comfortable even on warmer days. Along the route, you’ll find three river beaches where you can relax, refresh yourself or simply enjoy the peaceful environment.

Crossing the Arouca 516 Suspension Bridge is completely optional — perfect for travellers who prefer to enjoy the walk without heights. Those who choose to cross will experience one of the longest pedestrian suspension bridges in the world, with spectacular views over the valley.

After the walk, enjoy a well‑deserved break in a traditional local restaurant in Arouca, known for authentic regional cuisine. Here you can taste the famous Posta Arouquesa, a true specialty of the region, prepared with local ingredients and traditional methods.

A comfortable return to Porto completes this nature‑focused and culturally rich experience
